Water Cross Rules
Most Important:
Use extreme caution, respect others, and have fun.
This event is mainly for fun. Prizes will consist of bragging rights and a trophy for 2nd & 3rd place per class. 1st place winners per class will win 50% of the kitty for that class. *Class winners will be determined by the closest starting distance to the shore and longest ride on the pond.
- You must have a strong rope (min. 20’) and buoy tied securely to your sled incase we have to retrieve it from the pond. The rope must be secured to both spindles and not ski loops.
- You must wear a helmet and life jacket.
- Do not spill anything of any kind onto the pond or grass.
- Do not lift the rear of your sled at all. No Exceptions. If anyone is caught doing this, you will be asked to leave for the day without any refunds.
- You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the event.
- There is a $20.00 entrance fee per rider.
- All sleds must have working tether cords! Tether cord must be held at all times will sled is running!
Trail Stock: "Out of Box” stock with only gearing, jetting, & clutching changes.
Bolt on Stock: Bolt-on aftermarket modifications such as reeds, air boxes, chips, or rotary valve plates. No cutting, grinding, or milling will be allowed. Suspension modifications will be forced to run in Mod Stock.
Modified Stock: Any exhaust changes, grinding, milling, big bore kits, and suspension modifications will be allowed.
